Getting started

Mac

Download
Click the Mac button above. Your DMG will download in a few seconds.

Install
Open the DMG and drag PluginHub to your Applications folder.

Activate
Launch PluginHub and enter the license key you already have. Can't find it? Look it up here.

Windows

Click the Windows button above. The installer will download in a few seconds.

Install
Run the PluginHub-Setup file you just downloaded. If SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. The app installs just for your user account, so no admin password is needed.

Activate
Launch PluginHub and enter the license key you already have. Can't find it? Look it up here.

Why the SmartScreen warning? The installer is signed by Halcyon Digital LLC, but Windows shows a caution screen for new releases until enough people have installed them. That's normal for a newly released app, and it fades as the app builds reputation.

Where PluginHub lives

On a Mac: the menu bar

PluginHub runs quietly at the top of your screen, not as a window in your dock. After it launches, look for its icon up in your menu bar. The number next to it is how many plugin updates are waiting, and clicking it opens the dashboard any time.

On Windows: the system tray

PluginHub lives in the system tray, next to the clock, not as an open window. Closing the dashboard window doesn't quit it; it keeps checking in the background and shows a notification when updates are waiting. Hover the icon for the update count, click it to open the dashboard any time.

Windows 11 tucks new tray icons behind the ^ overflow arrow, so if you don't see PluginHub next to the clock, click the arrow, or drag the icon out onto the taskbar to keep it visible.

If you restart your machine and don't see a PluginHub window, it isn't gone. It's in your menu bar or system tray waiting for you.

One license, every machine. Each Mac or PC you activate uses one of your license's activations: 2, 5 or 10, depending on your tier. Out of activations? On the machine you no longer use, open License in PluginHub and choose Deactivate, then activate the new one. Lost your key? Find it here.
