How to update FabFilter plugins (Pro-Q, Pro-L, Pro-C and the rest)

How to update FabFilter plugins

FabFilter publishes every installer on its own site, which makes it one of the easiest vendors to keep current. PluginHub checks your installed versions against FabFilter's current releases and can download and run the update for you.

How PluginHub handles FabFilter

The steps

  1. Open PluginHub and run a check. The FabFilter card lists any plugin with a newer version.
  2. Click Download on the plugin, or Queue all to take every FabFilter update at once.
  3. Click Install. Your Mac asks for your password once for the whole batch, the installers run, and PluginHub writes a receipt of what changed.
